Something Old, Something New
Traditions are, perhaps, our oldest form of hospitality. From sharing stories to lavish celebrations, we’ve always found ways to welcome others into our lives. One of our favorite traditions is gathering around a table for a delicious meal. Check out our top recommendations for new and notable restaurants around the world.
Paris: Something Old
When Brasserie Lipp opened its doors in 1880 (yes, really!) in the Saint-Germain-des-Prés district of Paris, Léonard and Pétronille Lipp had no idea that their little Brasserie would become a Parisian institution. Serving traditional French Brasserie fare with the finest and freshest ingredients, they are known for their specialties such as Steak Frites, Bismark herring, brandade de morue, choucroute garnie, roast chicken, blanquette de veau, and tête de veau. They offer an expansive wine list, and hospitable service with that French savoir faire.
Miami: Something New
Mastro’s Ocean Club is one of the hottest openings of the season in Miami. Situated right on the water, the views are the only things that are better than the award-winning hospitality at Mastro’s. With their commitment to creating “Guests for Life”, they understand the importance of hospitality on a high level. With their main dining room, bar, terrace, and several private dining rooms, Mastro’s Ocean Club is the perfect spot for that romantic date night dinner, birthday dinner, or quick drinks with friends. This open space decorated with stunning Seaglass sculptures and cooper finishings will no doubt be a waterfront dining experience to remember.
London: A Classic to Revisit
Created in image of the old Irani Cafe’s in Bombay, Dishoom has become a staple of London. With 7 locations across London, and 3 others across the UK, Dishoom pays homage to the food of Bombay by bringing people together over food and drink. Since 2015 they’ve been on a mission to feed hungry children across the globe. For every meal they serve, they donate a meal to a child in need and have served over twenty million meals so far! Their social mission aligns with their goal to have food break barriers, and Dishoom continues to do just that.
