Discover the Great Outdoors | The Resort at Paws Up

Come see, do, explore and discover this 37,000-acre cattle ranch! The Resort at Paws Up is the very definition of the Great Outdoors.

Set along the Lewis and Clark trail, snowcapped peaks set the backdrop for the stunning Montana scenery that takes in the Blackfoot River and sprawling Great Plains. A working ranch has occupied this site for over 100 years. Black Angus cattle are still reared here, and more than 300 elk roam its land. However, Paws Up is now a luxury ranch resort on a grand scale where families make memories, honeymooners romance and the adventurous come to play.

There are two choices of accommodation: luxury vacation homes and safari-style tents for refined glamping. Rustic-luxe is the essence of both, combining natural materials and home comforts with high-tech amenities and chic furnishings. Deluxe en-suite bathrooms, glamping butlers and chef services are featured perks.

Try the home-cooked cuisine of Trough or more refined fare at Pomp – the two excellent dining options on property and also enjoy the endless activities include fly-fishing, horseback riding, archery, mountain biking, white-water rafting, ATV tours, sporting clays, hot-air ballooning, cattle drives and excursions to the Paws Up Island Lodge. Paws Up also has a very special Kid's Adventure Club. Each day, kids can experience things they’d never get the opportunity to try at home, such as archery, rustic cooking lessons, sapphire hunting and geocaching. They’ll embark on adventures tailored perfectly to their age in this immersive program that makes the most of Montana.
