Just steps from the property or a short drive away, their location allows access to hundreds of miles of spectacular trails in the Vail Valley including the Bachelor Gulch area, Beaver Creek and the White River National Forest. As in Malibu, you hike for time rather than distance and all guests hike at their own pace. Hiking routes and trails also vary each day.

Following lunch, guests enjoy a well-deserved naptime before fitness programming begins, which includes both strength training and restorative yoga, along with a daily massage. Guests will also have the opportunity to relax in the resort’s 21,000 square foot spa complete with relaxation lounges, steam rooms, dry saunas, hot and cold plunge pools and a stone-lined coed grotto. Outdoors, guests are able to calm their minds in the natural surroundings or in one of the property’s 3 Jacuzzis or large heated pool.

To complement the dynamic daily schedule, Jasper Schneider, Executive Chef at The Ritz-Carlton, Bachelor Gulch will collaborate with The Ranch Malibu’s Executive Chef, Meredith Haaz, to develop a plant-based menu featuring locally sourced organic fare. Incorporating the flavors of Summer and Fall, guests will be both nourished and delighted by a daily diet rich in fruits, vegetables, grains, pulses, legumes, nuts and seeds, while excluding alcohol, caffeine, gluten, dairy, soy, processed sugars and diet sweeteners.
