What makes your property special?
Its authenticity and intimate soul, stylish atmosphere and amazing views, but above everything the incredible people it is made of. A true big family that welcomes each guest with open arms, and fully open heart.
What is your favorite place to have coffee in the morning on property?
On the terrace of the restaurant, with the sun rising in front of me while sparkling on the lake surface, and the most incredible light and energy that fills my eyes and my heart of beauty. The best way to start any day.
How would you describe the hotel in just a few sentences?
The grand dame of Lake Como. It is simply what it is!
Do you have any secret spots around the hotel?
My secret spot is on the top of the hill of our park, where ‘cassinone’ stands, an old farmhouse that we restored as it is part of the history of the property. I used to go there when I was a child with my granduncle, Bruno and there I spent moments I will never forget. In my adulthood I still go there anytime I need a moment to wrap up my thoughts and be by myself for a while. From there, a real vantage point of the hotel, I can appreciate the silence of nature while admiring the magic of the scenery of the lake that splits into two arms when it meets the point of the peninsula of Bellagio. Pure marvel.
What are you most excited about with the newly opened borders?
The possibility to hug my friends again who I’ve been separated from for too long, and finally welcome them back home.
Where is the postcard shot on property?
The postcard shot on property that every person adores is the one of our flowers pool, a special point of view that showcases all together the incredible lake views with the green mountains that fall into the waters, the elegance of the Liberty style building and the lushness of the park with its flowers in bloom.

Chatting with the team and with the guests. Hospitality is all about feelings and human connections.
What new things can we expect from the hotel in 2022?
Grand Hotel Tremezzo is well known for its endless surprises and news. Every winter we work hard to surprise our beloved guests, but we don’t want to reveal too much so that they can come and experience it first-hand!
What do you want Four Hundred members to know about the property?
I wish they could know that we’ll go above and beyond to make their dreams come true. Our motto is: if you can dream it, we can do it.
