The Mindful Luxury of Maslina Resort

Do what you want when you want. This mindful luxury resort has created the space, view, comfort, privacy, design, and service to cater to your own vision of luxury. Oh. And the Adriatic is at your fingertips.

Maslina Resort is a Mindful Luxury escape on the Croatian island of Hvar, located near Stari Grad, a quaint and colorful fishing town with over 2400 years of history. Situated in the stunning Maslinica Bay, Maslina Resort is a 5-star hideaway enveloped by thriving olive groves and terraced vineyards stretching across two hectares of lush pine forest overlooking the Adriatic Sea.

Maslina Resort fuses classic Mediterranean styles with contemporary French touches, respecting nature already in place as the foundation for the design. Native plant species and wild Mediterranean vegetation thrive thanks to thick Aleppo pines, mature olive trees, and fragrant herb bushes. The landscape is linked with the colors of the materials, which are all-natural and locally sourced. The low-intrusive architecture blends in with the island environment, and the integrated interior design is inspired by the four elements of nature, which constructed a palette driven by the cerulean Adriatic Sea, salty summer breeze, pearly white rocks, and dense green forest. Local Brač Island stone, exotic Iroko wood, brushed brass, and terracotta is harmonized with the natural color scheme, while custom-made interiors and carefully handpicked vintage pieces complete the space.

Maslina's Michelin-recommended restaurant embraces the UNESCO-protected Mediterranean Diet and respects local ingredients and seasonality, with many ingredients harvested from the resort’s 7,000 sqm Organic Garden. Wellness is best showcased at Pharomatiq, where a garden-to-skin inspired spa menu uses home-grown, organic herbs and essential oils, honoring the island's long history as a health sanitarium. Maslina Resort also offers guests a chic summer beach bar, kids' playroom, sea-facing swimming pools, and a beach area.

Guests have Hvar Island at their fingertips, a multi-generational destination celebrated for its UNESCO heritage, booming nightlife, and culinary prowess, with remote villages and ancient customs as a precious testament to the Mediterranean ancestry and lifestyle that continues to thrive today.
